SCEA, which is an agricultural limited company (similar to a BV), currently with 2 partners, a married couple.
It is possible to carry out the sale via a transfer of shares in order to keep the current low interest rates (1%) on the existing loans.
The farm owns 54 hectares of land.
The remaining approx. 146 ha are rented under legal lease contracts.
In total, 142 ha lie directly around the buildings, separated only by a few small lanes; grazing this area is therefore easy.
There are also two blocks of outlying parcels: one of 18 ha and one of 36 ha, both less than 5 km away.
The cropping plan consists of:
• 133 ha permanent grassland
• 36 ha temporary grassland
• 17 ha cereals
• 9 ha alfalfa
Sorghum and maize have also been sown.
The yard is spacious and includes a large, bright barn of 4,600 m².
It has two long feed passages with feed barriers, straw pens for groups of 8 suckler cows each, and at the back a separate area for calves.
There are a total of 160 feed barrier spaces.
The central section is used as a straw/hay loft, keeping everything on site.
Because all the breeding cows are kept in the same building, the layout provides excellent oversight and a pleasant working environment.
A second barn of 970 m² is used for young stock.
There is also a large workshop and several storage buildings.
Two silage pits of 320 m² and 290 m².
Two manure storage pads of 230 m² and 266 m² plus a slurry collection pit with geomembrane, all compliant with environmental regulations.
Included in the sale:
• 4 tractors (John Deere and Massey Ferguson)
• A telehandler (John Deere)
• Feed mixer wagon
• Plough, power harrow, seed drill
• Mower, rake, tedder, baler
• Trailer, fertilizer spreader, etc.

Spreading of solid manure is done using equipment from the local CUMA (machinery cooperative in which the farm participates).
Grass silage and grain harvesting are carried out by a contractor.
• 130 Charolais suckler cows
• Approx. 40 heifers of 2 years
• Approx. 40 heifers of 1 year
Most of the young cattle are exported to Italy between 8–12 months of age, so very little finishing is done.
In total, there are around 335 animals on the farm.

The farm is in a quiet location. Next to the house there are a few neighbours at 200 metres distance.
The barns are located on the opposite side, out of view and without causing disturbance.
Basic services are available in nearby villages 5 and 8 km away: primary school, secondary school, doctor, shops and a fuel station.
The farm is located 9 km from the A71/A79 motorway access.
Clermont-Ferrand (university city with airport) is a one-hour drive away.
